The APD’s Institute of Public Policy aims to become a locally designed and sustained educational center that provides practitioners and young professionals with free, relevant, and practical courses that reflects the needs and dreams of their field with the ultimate goal of promoting and supporting the development of healthy and relevant public institutions.

The APD Institute of Public Policy fits within the greater APD’s mission statement “sustaining peace, promoting development.” After more than two decades of successful operations in the field of peace and development research; the Academy feels ready to share its experience and management expertise to assist in another facet of the peacebuilding and development process in Somaliland.
